Hyderabad, January 10: Former HMDA Chief Engineer BLN Reddy appeared before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection with the Formula-E car race fund transfer case. The investigation pertains to the alleged transfer of funds from HMDA accounts to a foreign firm during the event.
Reddy, listed as Accused No. 3 (A3) in the case, was questioned about transactions amounting to Rs 54 crore. The ACB is working to record his statement as part of the ongoing inquiry into financial irregularities linked to the race.
Earlier, high-profile figures, including Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) and senior bureaucrat Arvind Kumar, were also questioned by the ACB regarding their roles in the matter.
The investigation aims to uncover the specifics of fund utilisation and whether there were procedural violations in the transfer of money. Further developments in the case are awaited.
