BJP seeks public support to build glorious future of Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Sunday urged the public to back the party in building a glorious future of Telangana. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance model was drawing more citizens toward the BJP.

Rao spoke at a joining event in Wanaparthy, where several Congress and BRS leaders entered the BJP fold. He welcomed Venkatapati Rajanna, Nageshwar Rao Gollapally, Narsing Rao G. Shivakumar, and Karan Dev into the party. According to him, the new entrants reflect a growing shift in public sentiment.

He noted that many workers, including individuals from minority communities, were joining the BJP. He credited Modi’s welfare schemes and transparent governance for this trend. “People are clearly looking toward BJP,” Rao stated.

He further said the central government had maintained a corruption-free record for over 12 years. In his view, India’s rise as a self-reliant and developed nation stems from the Prime Minister’s leadership. He argued that this reputation was helping expand the party’s support base across the country.

Turning to state politics, Rao criticised both the BRS and Congress. He said the BRS government was rejected due to corruption. Meanwhile, the Congress government was accused of serving contractors and promoting communal politics. He also alleged that both parties used cash and threats in the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign.

Rao appealed to youth, women, and educated citizens to embrace the BJP. He said a corruption-free and progressive Telangana could only be achieved with widespread public cooperation.
