BJP pro-party atmosphere in Telangana, says Ramchander Rao

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP State President N Ramchander Rao on Tuesday said party workers had built a strong pro-BJP atmosphere across the state, positioning the BJP as the only viable political alternative in Telangana.

N Ramchander Rao addressed a state-level workshop of the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shikshana Mahabhiyan – 2026” at the party’s state office. He thanked party leaders and grassroots workers for strengthening public trust. According to him, the BJP pro-party atmosphere Telangana witnessed in recent months stemmed from sustained organisational work.

The workshop formed part of a large-scale political training programme. It aimed to equip workers from the booth level to national leadership. Rao said the BJP pro-party atmosphere Telangana now sees had emerged from consistent cadre training and ideological commitment.

He pointed to the party’s performance in recent municipal and corporation elections. The BJP secured key posts such as Chairman, Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Vice-Chairman. In Narayanpet, party leaders won the chairperson post. Moreover, in Bhainsa Municipality, the BJP overcame established political dominance and hoisted its flag.

BJP pro-party atmosphere Telangana rooted in cadre strength

Rao stressed that organisational strength remained the party’s core asset. Although the BJP has nearly 14 crore members globally, he said its real strength lies in dedicated grassroots workers. He contrasted the BJP’s internal democratic structure with what he described as family-run systems in rival parties.

Recalling the party’s evolution from the Bharatiya Jana Sangh to what he termed the world’s largest political party, Rao said the current training campaign would ideologically empower workers. He added that the initiative would further strengthen organisational structure and prepare the cadre for upcoming elections in Telangana.

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh attended the workshop. State In-charge Abhay Patil and State General Secretaries Dr N Gautham Rao, Virender Goud and Vemula Ashok were also present. Organisational General Secretary Chandrasekhar Tiwari, State Vice President Kasam Venkateshwarlu, senior leader Amarnath Sarangula and several district-level leaders participated in the programme.
