Congress losing public trust in Telangana, says BJP MP Arvind

Nizamabad: BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind launched a scathing attack on the Congress government in Telangana, asserting that public resentment against its rule was intensifying across the state. Speaking at a gathering of turmeric farmers in Nizamabad, Arvind expressed confidence that the BJP would emerge victorious in the 2029 Assembly elections, regardless of the political manoeuvring by rival parties.

Addressing members of the Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO), the MP urged cultivators to make effective use of recently released FPO funds. He described the initiative as a crucial opportunity for agricultural empowerment and community-based farming progress.

In a fiery political address that followed the meeting, Arvind hailed the Induru region—historic Nizamabad—as the ideological cradle for a future Hindu nation. He accused both the Congress and BRS of indulging in ‘compromised politics’, and claimed that their rivalry was superficial, driven more by electoral convenience than ideology.

He also made pointed remarks about Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and BRS leader K. Kavitha, stating that the two had once been business allies and would remain close associates despite their current political differences. Arvind labelled their past relationship as a strategic partnership that continues to influence Telangana politics.

Commenting on national security, the BJP leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision was to elevate India into a global leader and spiritual guide. Referring to the recent Pahalgam terror attack, he stated that India would respond strongly against Pakistan at the appropriate time, ensuring that terrorists receive a decisive and powerful counterstrike.
