Hyderabad: BJP floor leader Maheshwar Reddy on Friday claimed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka are locked in a deepening conflict that has effectively split the state cabinet into two camps.
Speaking to the media, he alleged that internal differences between the Chief Minister and his ministers had pushed the state into a financial crisis. According to him, Telangana is facing a deteriorating fiscal situation, worsened by disunity at the top level.
Reddy reacted strongly to Revanth Reddy’s earlier remark hinting at the state’s financial collapse. He said such statements would keep the Congress out of power for the next ten years. Even ministers within the cabinet, he claimed, are now admitting the crisis.
He added that the ongoing discord between the CM and the Deputy CM has stalled the cabinet expansion process. The BJP leader further stated that every misstep by the Chief Minister is being reported directly to the Congress high command.
According to Reddy, multiple complaints against Revanth Reddy have already reached the party leadership in Delhi. He predicted a leadership change after the upcoming local body elections, suggesting the CM could be replaced at any time post-polls.
