Bhu Bharati land portal to go public by March 2026: Minister Ponguleti

Hyderabad: Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced that the Bhu Bharati land portal will become fully accessible to the public by March 2026. It aims to integrate land-related services across multiple departments into a single digital platform.

The Minister made the announcement while launching the Telangana Revenue Employees Services Association (TRESSA) 2026 diary at Nampally on Tuesday. He said the portal would unify the Revenue, Stamps & Registration, and Survey–Land Records departments. It will offer transparent and streamlined access to land data and services.

The Bhu Bharati land portal will include comprehensive details of agricultural and non-agricultural lands. It will also cover endowment, forest, and Waqf properties. Reddy described the initiative as part of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s drive to reform the state’s revenue system. He said it had suffered a decade of dysfunction under previous administrations.

He added that the government is working to resolve decades-old land disputes through systematic reforms. Describing the Survey Department as the backbone of land governance, Reddy said 3,500 licensed surveyors have already been recruited. Another 3,000 appointments will be made within a week.

The Minister acknowledged that while progress has been made, further improvements remain necessary. He assured revenue employees that pending benefits would be cleared despite ongoing financial constraints. He also reiterated the administration’s commitment to addressing staff concerns.

Senior officials and association leaders present at the event included TRESSA President Vanga Ravinder Reddy, General Secretary Gautam Kumar, Treasurer Ramana Reddy, and Cultural Director Enugu Narasimha Reddy. TNGO leaders Yeluri Srinivas and Jagadish, RDO Upender Reddy, and GHMC Zonal Commissioner Chandrakala were also present.
