Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka described Telangana as an enabler of industry and business on Wednesday. He urged the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) to strengthen its collaboration with the State. Telangana is working to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
Bhatti Vikramarka was the chief guest at the FICCI@100 celebrations and the Telangana Deep-Tech Leadership Summit at ITC Kakatiya Hotel in Begumpet. He said investor-friendly policies and world-class infrastructure are driving industrial growth in the State.
The summit’s deliberations focused on DeepTech. The Deputy Chief Minister said Telangana has a strong foundation to emerge as a major player in the sector. “Hyderabad brings together software, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, aerospace and engineering. Our opportunity lies in getting these capabilities to work together,” he said.
He also stressed the need for seamless pathways in the DeepTech sector. These pathways should run from funding and research to product development and commercial production.
