Bhatti calls for scientific research to preserve India’s Ayurvedic heritage

Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday called for greater scientific research to preserve India’s Ayurvedic heritage and strengthen public awareness about health and well-being.

Addressing the Dhanvantari Maha Yagam at Sri Dhanvantari Temple in Kanakkoor, Kerala, he described health as the greatest wealth in human life. He also stressed the importance of protecting traditional medical knowledge while encouraging scientific research.

He urged people to prioritise their health amid increasing stress associated with modern lifestyles. Moreover, he emphasised the need for greater awareness about maintaining physical and mental well-being.
