Hyderabad: A gruesome murder shocked Nizamabad district after locals discovered the beheaded body of an unidentified woman near Mittapur on the outskirts of Fakirabad in Navipet mandal. The incident, which came to light near the Basara main road, created panic in the area.
According to police, assailants brutally killed the woman and severed her head from the torso. They also chopped off one arm and several fingers of the other hand. Locals who found the naked body immediately informed the police.

Police teams rushed to the scene soon after receiving the alert. The Clues team and Dog Squad began collecting evidence from the site. Police Commissioner Sai Chaitanya personally inspected the spot and directed officers to speed up the investigation.
Officials have registered a murder case and are trying to establish the victim’s identity. The incident has stirred deep concern among residents, as two women have been murdered in the same region within a month. Locals expressed fear for their safety and urged the police to arrest the culprits quickly and ensure strict punishment.
