Hyderabad: Representatives of the Telangana Electricity Assistant Engineers Association (TSEAEA) on Saturday met Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and expressed gratitude for the announcement of promotions in TGTransco.
The association welcomed the move to promote assistant engineers as assistant divisional engineers. They told the Deputy Chief Minister that engineers had been waiting for this opportunity for nearly 15 years. The announcement, they said, brought joy and renewed enthusiasm across the department.
TSEAEA seeks promotions in GENCO, DISCOMs
The association urged the government to extend similar promotions to eligible engineers in GENCO and DISCOMs as well. They also informed Bhatti Vikramarka that no new assistant engineer recruitments had taken place in TGTransco over the past seven years.
The Deputy Chief Minister responded positively to their appeals and assured them of the government’s support.
TSEAEA president Ramakrishna Reddy, TGTransco president Yadagiri, and members Gopi and Satyakrishna took part in the meeting.
