Hyderabad: AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said the new Passport Seva Kendra at MGBS Metro Station will benefit South Hyderabad and South Telangana. He added that placing the centre inside a metro station makes the process easier for citizens.

Owaisi spoke at the launch on Tuesday and called the centre a matter of “personal relief.” He recalled his efforts to bring a passport office to South Hyderabad and said the demand had finally been met. “This development gives me great happiness,” he said.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inaugurated the centre with Owaisi, Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav, and GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi. Officials said the new facility will process thousands of passport applications every month.
