HYDERABAD: A 23-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh died in a tragic road accident in the United States. The deceased, identified as Deepthi Vangavolu, was a native of Rajendranagar in Guntur district.
According to reports, the incident occurred while she was walking along a road in Denton, Texas, when she was struck by a car. Deepthi sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot.
She had recently moved to the United States to pursue her Master’s degree at the University of North Texas in Denton.
Authorities in the US are investigating the circumstances of the accident. News of her death has caused deep sorrow among the Telugu community and her family back home.
