Hyderabad: Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has been named Best Actor at the Telangana Film Awards 2024 for his role in Pushpa 2: The Rule, bagging one of the state’s most coveted honours the Gaddar Award.
The announcement came via a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), where the actor expressed deep gratitude. “It’s a true honour to receive the Best Actor award for this film,” he wrote, thanking the Telangana government for recognising his performance.
Arjun was quick to shift the spotlight to his team. “This award belongs to director Sukumar sir, my producers, and the entire Pushpa crew,” he said, acknowledging their relentless work behind the blockbuster’s success. “Every single person who toiled day and night deserves this recognition.”
In a heartfelt gesture, the Pushpa star dedicated the award to his fans. “I offer this award to all my fans. Your unwavering support has always driven me forward,” he said, signing off with characteristic humility.
