HYDERABAD: Union Minister for Coal and Mines and Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy announced that Warangal Railway Station is undergoing a major transformation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a post shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the minister highlighted the extensive development works underway at the station. These include a new entrance, extended concourses, a 12-metre-wide foot overbridge, upgraded platforms, and modernised restroom facilities.
To improve commuter convenience, elevators, escalators, and clear signage are being installed. Landscaping and comprehensive traffic management measures are also being implemented within the station premises.
Kishan Reddy emphasised that the upgrades are part of a nationwide effort to modernise railway infrastructure and enhance the overall travel experience for passengers.
