Hyderabad: A 19-year-old degree student died by suicide in Hyderabad’s Lalaguda area after allegedly facing harassment from her volleyball coach. The incident occurred near the Saibaba temple within the Lalaguda Police Station limits.
The victim, identified as Moulika, was a second-year student at Railway Degree College in Tarnaka. Police said that the accused, Ambaji, works as a volleyball coach in the same college and had been harassing her for some time, pressuring her to enter a relationship.

Unable to bear the harassment, Moulika reportedly took her own life by hanging herself at her residence. Following a complaint filed by her father, police registered a case and launched a search to trace the accused.
Investigations are underway, and police said further action will be taken once the accused is apprehended.
