HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand has personally overseen the preparations for the upcoming Sri Veer Hanuman Vijaya Shobha Yatra. The rally is set to begin at Gowliguda and proceed to the Tadbund Hanuman Temple, and CV Anand reviewed arrangements at the site alongside leaders from various Hindu religious organisations.
A coordination meeting was held with state-level leaders of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal, and officials from multiple departments. During the meeting, CP Anand issued several directives to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the yatra.

Speaking afterward, CV Anand stated that efforts were being made to address the shortcomings observed during last year’s event and to ensure the yatra is conducted successfully this year. He mentioned that instructions had been given concerning road repairs, drinking water facilities, and other logistical matters.
He further informed that a total of 42 rallies from the Cyberabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates will converge as part of the Sri Veer Hanuman Vijaya Shobha Yatra. Emphasising the importance of punctuality, he assured that all measures would be taken to ensure the timely and peaceful completion of the event.
The Commissioner said that the Sri Veer Hanuman Vijaya Shobha Yatra starting from Gowliguda would be monitored by approximately 17,000 participants and around 3,000 police personnel deployed for security and supervision. He confirmed that discussions were held with the organisers on all aspects of the rally and that steps are being taken to ensure this year’s yatra is conducted in a grand and successful manner.
