Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu on Monday inaugurated the Vanguard Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad. The launch marks a significant milestone in Telangana’s rise as a global innovation and technology hub.
At the event held in Knowledge City, Bhatti Vikramarka welcomed Vanguard’s leadership team and hailed the centre’s launch as a recognition of Hyderabad’s global tech stature. On behalf of the state government and people, he congratulated the company, calling it a proud moment in Vanguard’s journey.
He pointed out that Vanguard, known worldwide for ethical, innovation-driven investment management, chose Hyderabad for its strong infrastructure, business-friendly climate, and deep talent base. The Deputy CM said Hyderabad has become a preferred hub for global firms, thanks to its engineering institutions, dynamic startup ecosystem, and academia-industry collaboration.

Telangana invites Vanguard to build in Bharat Future City
Bhatti Vikramarka invited Vanguard to set up a permanent campus in Bharat Future City—Telangana’s planned world-class urban centre. He said CM Revanth Reddy’s government is committed to delivering global-standard infrastructure, including an international airport and smart urban services.
He also highlighted ongoing state initiatives such as the Global Innovation Centre, Young India Skill University, and the Global AI School. These programs aim to strengthen Telangana’s tech ecosystem. The Deputy CM urged Vanguard to explore partnerships with local universities and research centres to develop solutions that benefit both global markets and local communities.
Sridhar Babu praises industrial growth, tech talent
Deputy CM Bhatti credited Sridhar Babu’s leadership for the state’s rapid progress in IT and industry. He also applauded Vanguard employees, calling their expertise, energy, and dedication the real drivers of the company’s success. “You’re not just building Vanguard, but shaping the future of the tech ecosystem,” he added.
Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar and company representatives Nitin Thandan, Venkatesh, John, and Kim were also present at the inauguration.
