Lucknow, January 8: In a strange incident from Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh, a 36-year-old woman reportedly left her husband and six children to elope with a 45-year-old beggar. The woman’s husband, Raju, filed a police complaint claiming that his wife, Rajeshwari, had been abducted.
Police confirmed that Rajeshwari has been located, but the alleged accomplice, Nanhe Pandit, a beggar known to frequent the area, is still at large. Raju stated in his complaint that the family resides in Harpalpur locality, and the beggar often visited their area for alms. He also alleged that Nanhe had been chatting with Rajeshwari on the phone.
On January 3, Rajeshwari informed her daughter, Khushboo, that she was going to the market to buy vegetables. However, she did not return home even by evening. Raju later discovered that money from the sale of a buffalo, which had been kept in the house, was missing.
Suspecting Nanhe Pandit’s involvement, Raju approached the police, who took Rajeshwari into custody to record her statement. Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to locate Nanhe Pandit.
