HYDERABAD, February 1: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has lauded the Union Budget 2025–26, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, for its significant income tax relief measures. The budget proposes the elimination of income tax for individuals earning up to ₹12 lakh annually, a substantial increase from the ₹1 lakh exemption limit in 2005.
In a tweet, Bandi Sanjay stated, “Salaried individuals will no longer face deductions and hardships in their accounts. Instead, there will be plans for their golden future.” He further added, “This is not just a budget but a dawn of happiness in every Indian household. My gratitude to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing smiles to the faces of middle-class families and joy to salaried individuals.”
The minister emphasized that the budget reflects the government’s commitment to the welfare of the middle class and salaried citizens. The enhanced tax exemption is anticipated to provide substantial financial relief to these groups.
