Hyderabad: An NRI family from Visakhapatnam made a TTD annaprasadam donation of Rs. 70 lakh to the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Sunday.
Tripuraneni Venkata Ratnam and his wife Madhuri contributed Rs. 50 lakh to the trust. Their sons, Tripuraneni Vijay and Tripuraneni Vinay, also supported the initiative. Each donated Rs. 10 lakh towards the same cause.
The contributions were formally handed over in Tirumala. Representing the donors, Potluri Narasimha Rao submitted the demand drafts to TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary.
Officials received the donation at the Additional EO’s camp office. The amount will support the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust, which funds the free meal programme for pilgrims visiting Tirumala.

The TTD annaprasadam donation was presented during a brief meeting with temple officials. TTD Board Member Sri Bhanu Prakash Reddy attended the event and witnessed the handover.
The Annaprasadam Trust runs one of the largest free meal programmes at the Tirumala temple. It provides meals to thousands of devotees every day.
Through such contributions, donors support the continuation of the free food service for pilgrims visiting the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara.
