Unidentified miscreants set fire to TSRTC bus in Nalgonda’s Tadakamalla

Hyderabad: Unidentified individuals set fire to a TSRTC bus parked overnight in Tadakamalla village, triggering panic and a police investigation.

The incident occurred late Tuesday in Miryalaguda mandal, Nalgonda district, where the TSRTC bus (registration TS05 Z0047) had been parked on night halt by its assigned driver.

According to officials, the attackers reached the location around midnight and deliberately torched the vehicle. Fire and rescue teams arrived swiftly and managed to contain the flames before they could spread further.

The rear of the bus sustained fire damage, and several seats inside were charred by the time the flames were extinguished.

Local police examined the scene and registered a case. Investigators are analysing CCTV footage from nearby locations to trace the culprits’ movement and identify how they accessed the area.

Officials from the Miryalaguda depot, including the depot manager, inspected the site on Wednesday to assess the extent of the damage.
