Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police will impose traffic curbs near Chowmahalla Palace on Saturday, due to a cultural event organised by the Telangana Sangeetha Nataka Academy.
Restrictions will be enforced from 2 pm to 11 pm to manage crowds attending the ghazal evening near Chowmahalla Palace. The affected routes include Madina–Charminar, Charminar–Shalibanda, Shalibanda–Volga Junction, and Volga Junction–Moosabowli via Khilwat Road. Police expect a heavy turnout in the Charminar zone.
Key junctions and public transport routes affected
Traffic diversions will apply at major junctions such as Madina, Himmatpura, Volga Junction, Moosabowli, Chowk Maidan Kaman, Etebar Chowk, Sher-e-Batil Kaman, and Lakkad Kote.
City buses bound for Charminar will be terminated at Afzalgunj. RTC buses traveling to districts will be rerouted via Chaderghat, Saidabad, and Aramghar.
