Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee’s legal cell, led by chairman Ponnam Ashok Goud, asked the State Election Commission to postpone the Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) exam. The leaders stated that the test conflicted with the second phase of polling on the 14th. They noted that this overlap could limit voter turnout.
The delegation met SEC Rani Kumudini and Secretary Makarand. They asked both officials to guide the Police Recruitment Board to change the exam date. The group said many candidates may handle poll duties that day. They added that each candidate must still have enough time to vote.
