Hyderabad: Tollywood comedian Fish Venkat is in critical condition with severe kidney failure, and his family has appealed for financial help to continue treatment. Venkat has been admitted to RBM Hospital in Boduppal after his health worsened, with relatives saying he is no longer able to recognise those around him.
Doctors warned that a kidney transplant is essential to save him, according to his daughter Sravanthi. She stated the family cannot meet medical expenses and asked donors to come forward.
Venkat had been suffering from kidney-related complications for months, previously undergoing dialysis. With his condition declining, he was moved to intensive care.
Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan had extended ₹2 lakh financial support during Venkat’s earlier health troubles.
