Hyderabad: A tipper truck carrying sand overturned from a flyover near Survepalli village in Choutkur mandal around midnight on Friday. The vehicle lost control and plunged onto the service road below, police said.
Fortunately, no casualties occurred as no one was present at the spot during the accident. The driver sustained minor injuries and was shifted to the Sangareddy Government Hospital by National Highway ambulance staff.

Preliminary police findings indicated that over-speeding and loss of control led to the mishap. Officials have launched an inquiry into the flyover’s safety measures, vehicle speed regulation, and road construction quality.
