Hyderabad: Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy said time-bound recruitment is essential to achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047. He made the statement at the 18th Rozgar Mela held at the CRPF Group Centre in Chandrayangutta on Saturday, highlighting the focus on building Viksit Bharat through efficient, time-bound recruitment processes.
He explained that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 2022 initiative has accelerated the hiring process across ministries. “Youth joining government service today will be the foundation of Viksit Bharat,” he stated, noting that the approach relies on effectively managing the recruitment process within a set time frame to support the vision of a developed Bharat.

At the Hyderabad event, officials issued 213 appointment letters to candidates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. These included 179 for CRPF, 16 for ITBP, five each for SSB and BSF, and others in institutions like IIT-Hyderabad, Bank of Baroda, IFLU, and the Ministry of Education. Among the new recruits were 15 women. Importantly, the distribution of these roles reflects the strategy of recruitment on a time-bound basis for realizing the Viksit Bharat initiative.
Kishan Reddy noted that in addition to government jobs, the Centre is promoting startups and attracting new investments. He said this approach is generating employment in the private sector as well. “India remains a reliable investment hub, even during global tensions. This trust is bringing more jobs,” he added. In addition, efforts such as time-bound recruitment play a key role in the mission of making Viksit Bharat a reality.
Senior CRPF officials such as South Zone Medical IG Ganesh Chandra Padi, DIG Uday Bhaskar Billa, and Commandant Mohan Das Kobrugade attended the event. Their presence emphasized the importance of both Viksit Bharat vision and timely recruitment initiatives.
The 18th Rozgar Mela was organised simultaneously at 45 locations across India. In total, over 61,000 recruits received appointment letters for posts under various departments, including the Ministries of Home Affairs, Health & Family Welfare, Financial Services, and Higher Education. This underscores how focused, time-bound recruitment efforts are contributing to the central aim of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
