TGSRTC bus accident after brake failure in Adilabad

Hyderabad: A TGSRTC bus accident near Parandholi village in Kerameri mandal of Adilabad district left one woman passenger seriously injured and 29 others with minor injuries early on Thursday. The accident occurred after the bus veered into a cotton field following brake failure on a ghat road.

The bus was carrying around 40 passengers from Parandholi village to Adilabad. While descending a slope, the brakes failed and the driver lost control. Acting quickly, the driver steered the vehicle into a cotton field and prevented a major tragedy.

The accident caused panic among passengers. However, the driver’s quick response reduced the impact and limited injuries.

TGSRTC bus accident: injured shifted to RIMS Adilabad

Doctors admitted all injured passengers to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Adilabad. Medical teams treated one woman for serious injuries and provided care to others with minor wounds.

TGSRTC officials expressed relief as the accident caused no fatalities. They said they were coordinating with hospital authorities to ensure proper treatment for all injured passengers. Officials also said they would review safety measures on ghat routes.
