Hyderabad: The Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TG POLYCET) 2026 will be conducted on May 13, according to the Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training.
The examination is a key entry point for students aiming to join diploma-level polytechnic programs across Telangana. Results will be declared within 12 days of the test, allowing candidates to receive prompt feedback.
Online registration is now underway. The last date to apply without a late fee is April 20. The application fee is ₹500 for general candidates and ₹250 for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe applicants.
For those missing the initial deadline, a late registration window will be available on April 21 with an added fee of ₹100. A final ‘tatkal’ option will remain open until April 22 for a fee of ₹300.
In the 2025 cycle, over 1.06 lakh candidates registered, with nearly 99,000 appearing for the exam. The qualification rate stood at 92.64%, reflecting the competitive nature and wide reach of the test.
