Hyderabad: Three young men from Telangana’s Nirmal district, who had travelled to Malaysia for employment, were released from custody this week after being arrested under illegal arms possession laws. The youths Shankar, Rajeshwar, and Bhaskar, all residents of Lingapur had been detained along with three others from neighbouring villages Dosturabad and Manial.
Family members said that BRS constituency in-charge Kadam Bhukya Johnson played a pivotal role in securing their release. Johnson reportedly travelled to Malaysia at his own expense, liaised with local police authorities, and engaged legal services to assist the detained youths.
