Telangana Thalli statue to be unveiled across districts

Hyderabad: The Telangana government instructed all District Collectors to unveil the Telangana Thalli statue on December 9 at 10 am as part of the “Praja Palana – Praja Vijayotsavaalu” celebrations. Chief Secretary A. Ramakrishna Rao told officials to conduct the event in a dignified way and complete all arrangements in advance. Each district will hold the programme at its Collectorate, and officials said the state wants a uniform format across locations.

They noted that the event plays a key role in the public outreach plan. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy also directed departments to place the Telangana Thalli statue at the global summit venue. He said the symbol represents the spirit of the state and must figure prominently during the international gathering.

Telangana Thalli statue to feature in both Praja Palana and summit events

Last year, the Chief Minister unveiled the statue at the Secretariat during the Praja Palana celebrations. This year, the government expanded the programme to all districts and said the coordinated unveiling will highlight the cultural focus of the public-governance campaign.
