Hyderabad: The Telangana Rising Global Summit will operate under an extensive three-tier security framework during its sessions on December 8 and 9. The government selected Maheshwaram and Mirkhanpet as the host venues, and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed officials to follow global standards similar to the Davos model. Consequently, the state wants to present Telangana as a confident and investment-ready destination.
Officials expect participation from over 500 global companies and nearly 2,000 delegates. They believe the turnout will expand Telangana’s reach and strengthen its reputation. Moreover, the government aims to highlight the state’s strengths in innovation, technology and infrastructure throughout the summit.
Telangana Rising Global Summit to present long-term roadmap
The Telangana Rising Global Summit will also feature a vision document designed to guide Telangana toward a three-trillion-dollar economy by 2047. Therefore, several sessions will focus on growth priorities, investment opportunities and long-term reforms. Additionally, the summit will discuss plans to build Hyderabad as India’s “Future City” with upgraded infrastructure and modern systems.
Multiple departments have coordinated regularly to refine venue logistics and technical preparations. As a result, officials said they want to ensure that every arrangement aligns with international standards. They added that the summit will help the state attract sustained capital and promote major partnerships.
Telangana Rising Global Summit is placed under extensive security measures
The Telangana Rising Global Summit will function under a large security deployment. More than 2,500 police personnel from law and order units, traffic police, Special Branch, Intelligence, OCTOPUS, Greyhounds, dog squads and bomb squads will manage the arrangements. Ranga Reddy Collector Narayana Reddy, Rachakonda Commissioner Sudheer Babu, TGICC MD Shashank and Maheshwaram DCP Narayana Reddy reviewed the preparations with several wings.
Officials inspected barracks, kitchens, mess areas and sanitation facilities arranged for the forces. They confirmed that VVIP delegates will receive continuous three-tier protection. Furthermore, police will install more than 1,000 CCTV cameras across the summit zone to ensure real-time monitoring.
Traffic units will deploy nearly 1,000 personnel for route management. Additionally, two-day traffic diversions will remain in place. Officers advised motorists to follow the updated plans to avoid delays around the venue.
