Salman Khan to join Telangana Rising Global Summit amid studio proposals

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rising Global Summit drew statewide attention as Bollywood stars confirmed their participation in the event. Authorities said Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn would attend the summit scheduled in Hyderabad on December 8 and 9. Their willingness to explore investments in Telangana added further interest to the international gathering.

Officials noted that the government aimed to position Hyderabad as a global investment hub. As part of that effort, the Telangana Rising Global Summit was being held with significant preparations. Earlier, Salman Khan discussed the idea of establishing advanced film studios in the upcoming Bharat Future City during his meeting with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Mumbai on October 30. He praised the state’s growth rate and assured that he would contribute to enhancing Telangana’s global image.

Ajay Devgn also showed interest in major investments. According to officials, he was preparing to reach an agreement with the government for a large-scale film studio and film city in Hyderabad. His plan included animation facilities, VFX infrastructure and AI-driven smart studios. He also proposed a specialised training institution to build skilled manpower for the creative sector. Devgn had outlined these ideas to the Chief Minister during their meeting in Delhi last July.

During the Telangana Rising Global Summit, the government would release the “Telangana Rising Vision 2047” document. The vision aimed to build a one-trillion-dollar economy by 2035 and a three-trillion-dollar economy by 2047. Authorities expressed confidence that the involvement of stars such as Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn would further strengthen the state’s creative economy.
