Hyderabad: The Telangana government has increased the upper age limit for Anganwadi Helpers to be promoted as Anganwadi Teachers from 45 to 50 years. The decision was approved by the Women and Child Welfare Department.
According to officials, the move will benefit around 4,322 helpers working in the state. Minister Seethakka signed the related file, and formal orders are expected to be issued soon.
