Telangana partners with Australia to launch AI Centre of Excellence

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding with Australia’s Deakin University. This aims to establish the country’s first Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, focused on advanced skill development and global competitiveness.

IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu announced the agreement during a media briefing at the Secretariat. He was alongside Australian Minister for International Education Julian Hill. The Centre will be housed within the upcoming AI University at Bharat Future City.
