HYDERABAD: The Telangana government launched a 24-hour online sand booking system on Friday to streamline distribution and curb illegal transportation from sand reaches and dumping yards.
Officials have been instructed to deploy special teams to monitor and prevent unauthorised sand transport. The government emphasised the need for strict enforcement to ensure transparency and prevent misuse of resources.
Authorities warned that strict action would be taken against violators. The new system is expected to enhance accessibility and regulate sand distribution effectively.
