Hyderabad: In a move to address the longstanding concerns of state government employees, the Telangana government is set to hold a crucial sub-committee meeting on May 29, chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
The Deputy CM, who also heads the sub-committee on employee issues, was briefed on Tuesday at Praja Bhavan by a high-level officials’ committee tasked with gathering inputs from employee unions. The committee includes CCLA Secretary Naveen Mittal, Panchayat Raj Secretary Lokesh Kumar, and TRANSCO CMD Krishna Bhaskar.
Over the past few days, the officials held a series of discussions with union representatives and collected detailed representations outlining the grievances and expectations of government employees.
During the briefing, Bhatti Vikramarka directed the committee to put together a detailed report outlining both the concerns raised and possible ways to address them. The report will be presented at the next sub-committee meeting.
He emphasised that the government is serious about working with employee unions and finding timely solutions to their issues.
The meeting on May 29 is expected to set the stage for broader policy decisions focused on improving workplace conditions and addressing demands related to salaries, benefits, and service matters for state employees.
