Hyderabad: The Telangana government is set to develop a dedicated Electronic City as part of its upcoming Future City initiative, according to IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu.
In a significant investment push, Taiwan-based Siranet and Hyderabad’s LCGC Resolute Group have jointly committed to invest ₹300 crore in the state’s electronics manufacturing sector. The announcement followed a meeting between the minister and representatives from the two firms at the state secretariat on Saturday.
During the discussion, the minister outlined the state’s efforts to encourage the growth of electronics industries and assured the companies of government support. He explained that a dedicated task force comprising relevant officials would be constituted to streamline the approval process and ensure that entrepreneurs face no hurdles in establishing operations.
Minister Sridhar Babu extended his gratitude to the representatives of Siranet and LCGC Resolute Group for choosing to partner with Telangana in its development. He assured them that the state government would provide all necessary assistance to facilitate their ventures.
