Telangana education overhauled

Major reforms and new investments

The minister outlined a series of steps already taken. These include upgrading school infrastructure, implementing digital learning, recruiting new teachers, and expanding skill-based education. According to him, these changes impact every level of the system, from primary schools to higher education.

Significantly, the government has launched Young India Integrated Schools a flagship initiative to provide equal facilities for SC, ST, BC, and minority students on unified campuses. These institutions aim to remove caste and religion-based barriers in public education.

To fund this initiative, the government allocated ₹21,000 crore for the construction of 105 schools, one in each Assembly constituency. Reddy emphasised that this investment highlights the administration’s commitment to inclusive, high-quality education across Telangana.
