Telangana showcases digital tourism stall at global summit

Hyderabad: Telangana’s Tourism Department unveiled a digitally powered, paperless stall at the ‘Telangana Rising Global Summit’ on Monday, drawing sustained attention from international delegates.

Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao inaugurated the interactive exhibit, which showcased the state’s cultural heritage and tourism infrastructure through modern digital tools. The stall featured large LED screens, virtual kiosks for destination exploration, and an interactive quiz titled “Test Your Knowledge on Telangana Tourism.”

The minister stated that the state aims to elevate Telangana Tourism to global standards. He highlighted that the newly introduced Telangana Tourism Policy 2025–2030 had already attracted strong investor interest. “The coming years will see exponential growth in the tourism sector,” he said.

Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Kranthi Valluru, along with senior officials, attended the inaugural event. The stall continued to receive positive feedback throughout the summit.
