HYDERABAD: The Telangana Congress will stage a large-scale protest and sit-in demonstration outside the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Hyderabad on Thursday, denouncing what it describes as the BJP’s political vendetta.
The protest will begin with a rally at 10 a.m. from Gun Park, opposite the Assembly, to the ED office. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, senior AICC leaders, ministers, and veteran Congress leaders are expected to participate.
The demonstration is being organised to oppose the inclusion of senior AICC leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the chargesheet related to the National Herald case. TPCC leaders have alleged that this action is politically motivated.
Calling for a massive turnout, TPCC has urged Congress workers, leaders, and supporters to join the protest in large numbers to show solidarity and express outrage over the alleged misuse of central agencies.
