Hyderabad: The Telangana finance department on Friday approved recruitment for 2,363 posts in the health department, paving the way for large-scale hiring on a contract basis.
According to official sources, these new positions are aimed at improving hygiene and overall healthcare delivery in government hospitals across the state. The move comes as the state is expanding public hospital infrastructure in various districts, making these fresh appointments significant.
Government sources said the Telangana Public Service Commission will oversee recruitment processes for these posts, in line with notifications being issued periodically to fill vacancies in multiple government departments.
The contractual hiring is expected to bolster essential services, especially in newly constructed government health facilities under various development projects.
