Hyderabad: Eleven Telangana citizens trapped in cybercrime camps in Myawaddy, Myanmar, are returning to Hyderabad after reaching Delhi on Friday. The Indian Air Force brought them back as part of a joint rescue operation coordinated by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
A special Air Force flight carrying the group landed in Delhi on Friday evening. MEA officials received the citizens and completed verification before handing them over to Telangana representatives at Telangana Bhavan.

The MEA confirmed that the group includes residents from Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, and other districts. Moreover, officials stated that doctors examined all of them and found them to be in good health.
Telangana government officers arranged accommodation and coordinated their travel plans. They are expected to reach Hyderabad today on Saturday. In addition, the state will provide counselling, financial support, and follow-up assistance for their rehabilitation.
Officials said the rescue was part of India’s wider mission to bring back citizens trapped in illegal cybercrime networks in Southeast Asia. Furthermore, they praised the swift coordination between the MEA and the Indian Air Force, which ensured the safe recovery of the victims.
