Hyderabad: The Telangana cabinet meeting scheduled for 4 pm today has been postponed to July 28, as the Chief Minister and five senior ministers remain in Delhi for an AICC event.
The Chief Minister’s Office issued a statement confirming the deferral, citing the unavailability of key ministers attending the All India Congress Committee (AICC) meeting.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is in the capital on an official tour. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy, and ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha, and V Sridhar Babu also remained in Delhi for the party event.
With half the cabinet out of station, officials confirmed the meeting will now be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the state secretariat.
