Hyderabad: The Telangana government has appointed 45 candidates as Deputy Collectors under the Group-1 services, issuing formal orders on Sunday.
Appointments made under Civil Services Rules 2024
These appointments fall under Category-3 of the Deputy Collector post as per the Telangana Civil Services (Executive Branch) Rules, 2024. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) had selected these candidates through the Group-1 recruitment notification.
Of the total, 20 candidates were assigned to Multi-Zone 1 and 25 to Multi-Zone 2. They have been allotted to various districts for training purposes.
Conditions apply for joining and tenure
As per the orders, appointees must join duty within 60 days. Failure to do so will lead to cancellation of the appointment. After completing training, they must serve a minimum of three years in government service.
The government also directed the appointees to undergo certificate verification and submit their medical fitness reports before taking up duty.
