Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau booked 31 cases and enquiries during June 2025, including 15 trap cases, two disproportionate assets cases, three criminal misconduct cases, four regular enquiries, and seven surprise checks.
In June, 25 public servants, among them two outsourcing staff or private individuals, were arrested and remanded. Trap cases yielded cash seizures totalling ₹3,43,500. Two disproportionate assets cases led to the discovery of assets worth ₹13.5 lakh and ₹5.22 crore respectively. Surprise checks at RTA checkposts and Sub-Registrar offices recovered unaccounted amounts of ₹2,72,030.
From January to June 2025, the Bureau registered 126 cases overall: 80 trap cases, eight disproportionate assets cases, 14 criminal misconduct cases, 10 regular enquiries, 11 surprise checks, and three discreet enquiries. During this six-month period, 125 public servants, including eight outsourcing workers or private persons, were arrested and remanded. Trap recoveries amounted to ₹24.57 lakh, while disproportionate assets worth ₹27.66 crore were unearthed across various departments.
In June alone, the Bureau finalised 11 cases, sending reports to the government. Between January and June, final reports were filed in 129 cases.
