Telangana 99 Days Action Plan to accelerate development outreach

Hyderabad: The Telangana government firmed up a Telangana 99 Days Action Plan to speed up development works and strengthen welfare delivery across the state.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will chair a high-level review at the Secretariat at 3 pm on Saturday. He will meet secretaries of key departments to finalise targets under the Telangana 99 Days Action Plan. During the meeting, he will clear department-wise action points and set timelines for implementation.

Earlier, the government formed a Cabinet sub-committee to draft the framework. The panel compiled progress reports and identified priority sectors. Officials said the plan consolidates work completed in the past two years and sets short-term, measurable goals. At the same time, it aligns departmental output with public outreach.

Telangana 99 Days Action Plan rollout from March 2

The government will roll out the programme from March 2 to June 9. The 99-day schedule will cover all districts. Moreover, ministers, legislators and district officials will take part in coordinated reviews and field visits. The administration expects close monitoring at the mandal and district levels.

Meanwhile, opposition parties have alleged that development slowed after the Congress government took office. In response, the government will use the Telangana 99 Days Action Plan to present department-wise progress and ongoing works to the public. It will also track sanctioned projects and clear pending proposals within fixed deadlines.

Officials said the Chief Minister will insist on weekly reviews and measurable outputs. He will direct departments to submit progress updates at regular intervals. Further details are expected after the Secretariat meeting concludes.
