Hyderabad: Talasani Srinivas Yadav urged the state government to take concrete measures to prevent recurring incidents after the Ameerpet fire accident at a coaching centre on Friday.
The former Minister and Sanathnagar BRS MLA inspected the fire mishap site at Aditya Enclave near Maitrivanam in Ameerpet. He reviewed the situation and interacted with officials at the location.
According to preliminary information, a short circuit in an electrical panel board on the ground floor triggered the blaze. The incident caused panic in the busy commercial area.
Fire personnel and police teams responded promptly. They safely evacuated around 60 students using ladders. No casualties were reported in the Ameerpet fire accident.
Talasani expressed concern over safety standards in densely populated localities such as Ameerpet and SR Nagar. He said the government must conduct regular inspections and enforce strict preventive measures instead of reacting after accidents.

He stressed that authorities must strengthen monitoring mechanisms to prevent similar incidents in commercial hubs. Further details regarding the fire accident are awaited.
