Talasani dares Congress to prove ₹4,000 crore development in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: BRS MLA and former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav challenged the Congress government to prove its claim of spending ₹4,000 crore on development in Hyderabad’s Cantonment constituency. He said he would resign if the figure was proven accurate.

Talasani challenges CM Revanth on development claims

Speaking at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday, Talasani demanded that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy show clear evidence of any major development or ration card distribution since taking office. “We spent ₹44,000 crore on Hyderabad during the BRS regime,” he said.

He accused the Chief Minister of making “irresponsible statements” and urged him to tour the city before making public claims.

Criticises Azharuddin’s cabinet induction

Talasani also criticised the Congress for inducting cricketer Md. Azharuddin into the cabinet. He alleged the move was a political tactic driven by fear of defeat in the Jubilee Hills by-election. According to him, Congress ignored Muslim representation for 23 months and acted only under pressure from the BRS.
