Sravan slams TGPSC over spelling errors in Group-I results, calls it a betrayal of trust

Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dr. Dasoju Sravan launched a sharp attack on the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) on Thursday. He accused the body of negligence and incompetence after it released the Group-I results notification riddled with spelling errors.

In a strongly worded post on social media, Sravan questioned the Commission’s credibility. “If TGPSC can’t issue a simple notification without mistakes, how can we trust it to handle an exam as important as Group-I?” he asked.

Sravan said what some may see as a small clerical error actually reveals deeper flaws. “This isn’t a typo. It’s a test of TGPSC’s attitude towards lakhs of aspirants,” he wrote.

He alleged that the dreams of many young candidates—who gave up jobs, mortgaged land, and prepared for years—were being shattered by procedural lapses. Instead of admitting faults, the Commission was, he claimed, trying to mask failure as success with help from those in power.

Exam reduced to a mockery, says Sravan

“The Group-I exam has become a mockery,” he said. “TGPSC has failed in its basic duty to ensure fair and transparent recruitment.”

Sravan also criticised the Commission for rushing to release results at midnight without proper checks. “They couldn’t even run a spell check. This shows not urgency, but sheer carelessness,” he added.

He tagged the TSPSC, the Chief Minister’s Office, and civil service aspirant groups in his post, which quickly went viral.
