Hyderabad: Minister for IT, Industries and Commerce Duddilla Sridhar Babu unveiled SportE on Thursday. The digital platform streamlines sports venue and academy management. Former cricketer Chamundeswaranath and Indian badminton coach Pullela Gopichand joined him at the launch.
Hyderabad-based Weblabs developed the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. The launch took place at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy (PGBA) in Hyderabad.
SportE helps sports academies and facility operators manage bookings, customer information, payments and day-to-day operations through a centralised digital dashboard. Facilities can set up their own branded websites, showcase their infrastructure and accept online bookings. Operators can also integrate their payment gateways and supported booking aggregators while keeping control of their data.
Pullela Gopichand, Partner and Mentor at SportE, said the initiative seeks to make technology accessible to sports facility operators. This, he said, lets them focus more on athletes and communities. The initiative, started with partners Srikanth Punati and Shyam Kathuroju, aims to build a connected sports ecosystem linking infrastructure, coaching, participation and business operations.
AI analytics and subscription plans
The product roadmap also includes AI-powered analytics and reporting. These tools will help operators assess performance trends and make informed business decisions.
SportE offers a 30-day free trial. Its subscription plans, named ONE, GROW, SCALE and BEYOND, cater to facilities of different sizes and operational requirements.
